Welcome to the Wardell Fire Department. We are a 100% volunteer Emergency services department located in the Missouri Bootheel and we protect the northern region of Pemiscot County, which includes the towns of Wardell, North Wardell, Homestown, Pascola and over 100 square miles of populated rural area. Along with the normal hazards associated with protecting these towns we have: Interstate 55 (an extremely busy trade route), Burlington Northern rail line (a main line that commonly caries hazardous materials) and the North Pemiscot school District (a K through 12 two campus facility). We protect many agricultural facilities that include cotton gins, a multi-county anhydrous ammonia distribution facility, agricultural chemical and liquid fertilizer distributors as well as many farm storage structures. Our area presents some unique challenges that we are proud to meet everyday.
